In short
The vandoor.fr site uses no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party cookies. Our audience measurement runs on Plausible Analytics, a cookieless solution hosted in Germany. You see no consent banner because no consent is required.
Only a few strictly technical cookies may be dropped to keep the site working (language preference, security). These are exempt from consent under the ePrivacy Directive and CNIL deliberation 2020-091.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file dropped by a website on your device (computer, mobile, tablet) when you visit. It allows the site to remember information about your visit: preferences, cart, session identifier.
The European ePrivacy Directive and Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act require prior consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary (advertising, non-exempt audience measurement, social networks).
2. Cookies used on this site
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required)

This cookie is exempt from consent because it is strictly necessary for the provision of a service explicitly requested by the user (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, CNIL deliberation 2020-091).
2.2 Audience measurement — Plausible Analytics (cookieless)
We use Plausible Analytics, an open-source audience measurement solution hosted in Germany. Plausible:
- drops no cookies on your device
- stores no individual identifier and no IP address
- does not track you across sites
- aggregates data at the site level, not at the visitor level
In line with CNIL guidance on audience measurement (sheet n° 16, updated 2025), Plausible in its standard configuration meets the consent exemption criteria: purpose strictly limited to audience measurement, pseudonymised data, no cross-referencing with other processing, no transmission to third parties, limited retention.
2.3 Session cookies (where applicable)
If you fill out a contact or quote form, a technical session cookie may be used to preserve your inputs in case of page reload. This cookie is removed when you close the browser. It is exempt from consent.
2.4 Advertising, social, profiling cookies
None. We do not embed advertising pixels (Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag), no social share buttons that drop cookies, no remarketing. If a YouTube or Vimeo video is embedded, it is loaded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) or via prior explicit consent.
3. How to refuse or delete cookies
Even though no consent is required on vandoor.fr, you remain in full control of cookies via your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions
Refusing the NEXT_LOCALE cookie will only mean your preferred language is not remembered between visits.
4. CNIL position
"Audience measurement solutions that meet the conditions defined by the CNIL (purpose strictly limited, no cross-referencing, anonymised data) qualify for an exemption from consent."

In line with this position, and because Plausible Analytics is natively designed to respect these criteria, vandoor.fr does not display a cookie consent banner. This approach is part of the privacy by design philosophy that vanDOOR wants to bring to its European B2B users.
5. Changes
If we ever integrate a new tool that may drop a cookie subject to consent (A/B testing, CRM integration, an occasional advertising pixel), we will update this page and display a CNIL-compliant consent banner before any cookie is dropped.
