TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE
Under the hood — motor, shutter, integration.
Twin-motor 32 V, 195 mm/s idle.
Dual redundant motor architecture: if one motor fails, the second completes the opening in degraded mode. Torque maintained over the full travel, soft start to preserve the shutter and the kinematics.
Extruded profiles, micrometric tolerance.
Extruded aluminium slats, polymer seals, stainless steel runners. Motor-unit rated 160,000 cycles / 5 years (maintenance manual §5.1).

Product FAQ
Frequently asked questions about this product
The DL-6 is a retrofit motorisation kit for any existing roller door — installable by a qualified bodybuilder. The AluLIFT is a full door system: modular aluminium panels, vertical and horizontal rails, centred balancer, integrated drive. The AluLIFT falls under Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and must be integrated by a trained, qualified bodybuilder, with a CE Declaration of Conformity for the final assembly. Motor, sensors and control box parts are common to both ranges.

The AluLIFT is intended for light commercial vehicles, trucks and trailers with a cargo compartment, providing motorised cargo opening and closing. Two connection-plate variants are offered: insulated for refrigerated vehicles, standard for dry boxes. Operation is strictly limited to a stationary vehicle — driving with the door open is forbidden. Insulated trucks or trailers need a roof reinforcement before rail mounting.
SRCManuel-instruction-utilisation.mdl.98-105
VanDOOR does not perform installation itself. AluLIFT integration must be carried out exclusively by qualified, trained bodybuilders or integrators, in accordance with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and best practice. The integrator guarantees regulatory compliance of the final assembly, verifies correct operation, commissions the system, and supplies the end user with the manual and CE Declaration of Conformity for the integrated equipment.
SRCManuel-instruction-installation.mdl.45-72
A door balancer averages 15,000 to 25,000 cycles, i.e. 1.5 to 2 years at 40 cycles/day. The spring fatigues, the wire corrodes and loses effective diameter. Monitor it: if the door takes more force to open than to close, increase tension. If the reverse, reduce it. Past 2 years, schedule a preventive replacement — a spring breaking in service is dangerous and immobilises the vehicle.
